Written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero features SRK as vertically challenged Bauua Singh, Katrina as superstar Babita Kumari and Anushka Sharma as cerebral palsy patient Aafia. The story of the film revolves around Bauua who is in search of love and crosses path with these two ladies and the three of them embark on an emotional journey together.
Aanand has described his film as a celebration of life. “The film is about the incompleteness of any form – be it emotional or physical. But it has nothing to do with happiness. It says ‘let’s celebrate life in any form’. This film makes me feel very dreamy. I being on a wheelchair can be a happier person than you. It is about accepting all the flaws and weaknesses and celebrate life. It is about romancing life not surviving. Don’t survive, live,” he told Press Trust Of India (PTI).
Zero will be hitting the screens on December 21.
