After winning over the Indian audience, Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor starrer 102 Not Out is now heading to China. The makers of the film believe that its story has a universal appeal and will resonate well with people in the neighboring country.
Directed by OMG – Oh My God! fame Umesh Shukla, 102 Not Out is scheduled to hit the Chinese theatres on November 30. Upon its release in India, the film turned out to be a sleeper hit and went on to do a business of over Rs. 50 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the Chinese posters of the film.

2018 has seen a number a Hindi films release in China and most of them have done well. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Irrfan Khan’s Hindi Medium and more recently, Rani Mukerji’s Hichki turned to be huge money-spinners in China and now the team of 102 Not Out will be hoping to replicate the success of these films.
Based on the eponymous Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi, 102 Not Out has Big B playing a 102-year-old father to a 75-year-old Rishi. It was after an elongated gap of 27 years that the two legendary actors shared the screen space. Their last outing together was Ajooba which released in 1991.
