Union Home Minister Amit Shah has tested positive for COVID-19. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader shared the news via his official Twitter account.
Amit Shah informed that he had developed some symptoms of the dreaded disease after which he undertook a test and the report came out to be positive. The 55-year-old politician has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in New Delhi.
“On getting the initial symptoms of COVID-19, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but I am being admitted to the hospital on the advice of doctors. I request that all of you who have come in contact with me in the last few days, please isolate yourself and get your inquiry done,” tweeted Amit Shah.
