Over 120 films in the last three decades and still going at an unmatchable pace, Akshay Kumar is certainly a superhuman. Also known as Khiladi Kumar and very rightly so, Akshay has played a huge role in making people fitness conscious.
He is currently awaiting the release of Mission Mangal and then has 6 more films lined up, Housefull 4 and Good News for this year and Laxmmi Bomb, Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey and Prithviraj Chauhan biopic for 2020. Besides, he is in talks for several other projects with different filmmakers, one of them being the biopic of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval with Neeraj Pandey.
Now, when the posters of Sooryavanshi and Bachchan Pandey were released, we saw an even fitter and leaner Akshay Kumar. His fans went into a frenzy seeing the level of fitness that he has at the age of 53. So, recently, a reporter enquired him about the secret of his physique and Akshay spilled the beans.
The superstar revealed that he does not put any sort of food restrictions on himself and eats everything as long as it is home-cooked. He further said that all he does to burn calories and stay in shape is workout.
Here are Akshay’s exact words.
“I have lost some weight for Sooryavanshi and Bachchan Pandey. I have shed about 5 to 6 kilos. I have lost weight naturally. I don’t diet, I just increase my workout. I do everything naturally. If you think that I have started eating less, you are wrong. I still have paranthas.”
