After Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora also tests positive for COVID-19

Hours after Arjun Kapoor informed that he has contracted COVID-19, Malaika Arora, his rumoured girlfriend, also tested positive for the dreaded disease.

Arjun took to his Instagram account to share the news and revealed that he is asymptomatic. Within a couple of hours, reports came in that Malaika has also caught the novel coronavirus infection. Malaika’s sister Amrita Arora confirmed the development.

While Arjun had recently returned to the sets of his upcoming yet-to-be-titled rom-com co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Malaika was shooting for her show dance-based reality show, India’s Best Dancer.

“It is my duty to inform all of you that I have tested positive for coronavirus. I’m feeling ok and I’m asymptomatic. I have isolated myself at home under the advice of doctors and authorities and will be under home quarantine. I thank you all in advance for your support and I will keep you all updated about my health in the days to come. These are extraordinary and unprecedented times and I have faith that all of humanity will overcome this virus,” Arjun said in an Instagram post.
